That would be great if anyone played SF anymore.....it's to hard finding servers that play the maps.

I was in a funk, then I got SF. Brought the magic back and now I enjoy vanilla again also. I also forced myself to play roles I hadn't previously. I used to hate snipers, then I made myself play 15 hours as one for the veteran award, and guess what? Not only do I like being sniper now, I get killed by them far less often.

This happens to everyone, eventually.

Blame the shallow maps, shallow teamplay functionality, and lack of (meaningful) objective-based gameplay.

Maybe your ready to do some competition?

It really takes the game to a whole new level of gameplay. I compare pubbing to playing ball with your friends at local neighbourhood park or field, you get some runs in, maybe a home run, but it really means nothing, it's fun and relaxing,
but it sure ain't as exciting as playing ball competitively in an organized league where it means something.

Getting bored of playing in the park? join a league :)

I dont see how a person gets bored in this game. I have almost one thousand hours and still find fun things to do. Maybe thats just me though.
Lately Ive been rideing around laying on the back of a tank keeping it repaired as long as I can. It really suprises some tank drivers to have repair going on almost all the time. It also makes the tank hard to kill.
The way I see it theres just to many things to do (with in the rules) for me to get bored. Try doing the nuttyest thing you can think of and see if it works. Its actually quite fun. . . . . . . . .Red

Have you tried being commander? Being Squad Leader? Joining a squad?

Playing as engineer and repairing assets or driving around repairing tanks?

Specs ops and sneaking around blowing enemy commander assets?

There are SO many things you can do in this game..if you've tried it all and you're still bored, it's time to move on.

maps flags kills deaths

i think thes should make more mods of the game, any misions or something like that, rounds like in CSS.
