well - that is a DIRECT violation of not only ROE
(so stand by by for stats reset)
but also against the total spirit of the sense of team play and community !!!!
no one hates a bad / dumb gunner more than me
but how many of you young whelps were borne that way!!!

as long as they get on VOIP and try - what more can you want??
if they miss every single shot . . . and finally make one
imagine the joy they get
(or duh- did you all forget your first kill??)
many of these younger players just bought his game
and many have no idea they should go practice first
I have about 420 hours in attack helo, with only about 20 as gunner
and I stack "me an my gunner" up against any one of you
anytime/anyplace
our typical game is 50+ with less than 3D (and that is usually to a pair of jets)
but did we start out that way?
no - maybe 15/10 KDR if we were lucky

point is - skill talent comes with time
as I have said before - we kick gunners - not if they are bad
only if they have no radio
but we REALLY hard on solo pilots
warn once, then kick, then BAN
we treat this as a TEAM sport - not a showcase for Prima Dona's

people who complain about incompetant gunners make themselves look incompetant, as they cannot make the kills themselves unless they can switch seats.....

Alpha, I invite you to put this idea into practice against either a well coordinated ground team or an enemy helicopter with TV capabilities: odds are your hydras will be insufficient, as your chances of getting in range will be slim. Against someone like me, you wouldn't stand a chance unless your gunner made an effort to use the guided missile. The truth can sometimes hurt and for this, I am sorry: I don't mean to offend anyone by telling it like it is...

dead honest this happened at the very start of the game. I got in after he did and he took me out to the edge. Its not like i'm new to the game either, i have msgt rank and have been playing for a year.

That's so sad, really. At first you would think it's understandable but it really is just pathetic. Specially when they do it in begin of the first round. They might know how to wh0re the chopper but they forget that the first part of the round is most important. You have to get few flags to get the game going.
With their pathetic childish behavior they make sure that the enemy just has enough time to have an unbreakable defense.

When I see in Sharqi someone do that on hotel I just laugh. What a moron to be killed min later by the mec chopper. Then the hotel get spammed and then usually gets taken cos they don't protect the hotel with the cobra.

Also the armour have free play etc etc. It's just sad. And don't cry about the stats. I love stats but I know how to play in a team. So in the end there just way too many sad people lol.

well i blasted him a couple of times after that with the air defense weapon on teh carrier. But he won in the end i guess cuz i got kicked after two teamkills. Whatever.

i let anyone gun for me, i dont care if they suck or not, i like to give tips, and be helpful......if my gunner sucks, and doesnt kill anything, i take the opportunity to make the kill myself......may be a bit more challenging, but im not like most of these ***** nubs who OOB TK if presented with this challenge......they think they are soooo leet, yet cannot survive with a lousy gunner......lame

He took you out of bounds because you either sucked at gunning, or your rank was low.

OR, he has some people on vent/TS and they want the chopper.

Rank means nothing, i was a much higher rank than you and now i have my new account, would you take me out of bounds?

i put these practices into play everytime i get a gunner who doesnt use those TVs......and sure its not easy, i nvere said it was, but i do enjoy the challenge, and get a lil better each time......ive downed my share of attackhelis with gunners by myself, because my gunner was asleep or w/e

think about it.....when my gunner is slackin, i have no choice but to put this idea into practice....

Succinctly put, I'm giving you an idea of what it feels like to have the ability to help your team win, only to be hindered/handicapped by another player: one who, despite perhaps having the best of intentions, creates a problem with no immediate solution other than his dismissal from the vehicle in question.

Think about it.

It does'nt matter how good you are compared to the crap gunner.

The fact is everyone has the right to get in the chopper its not up to you to deside who gets in and who does'nt, how will they learn if they never get taught?

I really really really do hate these people who think its there birth given right to everything, grow up, get laid, get the hell out fo BF2!!!!!!!!!

it's just a game. i like to play on the ground but if i have to fly i will. i don't have much time in the air but i'm not bad.

i have a idea, if you don't like the gunner don't get back in the chopper after you die. let someone else get a chance to fly. play something else other than whore the chopper. god knows most people that fly can't stay alive on the ground. i find that very funny when the map changes to a ground map and they get owned.

You're not understanding what I'm writing, Alpha: you won't get in range to use your hydras against me.

I understand where you're coming from, but you need to realize your tactics don't work against the better pilots or gunners out there: you need your gunner or solo heli if you're to survive them. I know you'll reply with something to the effect of "you don't know what you're talking about, hot air, this and that", but I'm right... you just don't know it yet.
