In all my hours of BF2 I have yet to seen a hacker.

Try playing some unadmined servers. There are plenty. Baptizer, Thund3rb0lt,nazif, and DesertHitman are some who I have encountered who are %100 cheaters.

For you smart asses out there, none of these players "owned" me and I am not falsely accusing them of hacking. They make it way to obvious, go see yourselves. Especally the first two.

I was there last night/ early this morning I guess you'd say, and I told the commander it's not him and I knew that. The hack is for any kit to use, you don't have to be commander.

We were playing on the EscApe server, which btw rocks. Their admins are cool as hell and I play there quite often (when I'm actually playing vBF2 anyway), but yeah. I recorded a video but won't bother uploading it unless you really wanna see it.

[xXx]the_d00d and I were basicly having a little destruction derby on the carrier last night with like 10 other people. I then managed to get the harrier and i hovered just off the carrier and kept shooting the cars out from the sky with missiles and bullets. It was kinda cool.

But it sucks man. They really need to fix this crap. soon.

i had it happen on teamhaf server and they started 2 give me trouble for complaining about it

yea me and my friends came across this one on a server. we were like wtf is going on. it was funny at first but then quickly got old and every one was calling the commander a hack but he was saying it must be a glitch or it wasnt him

Two wake servers in the past hour, two times I've saw this hack. Zomg.com or something was on and kept posting a link for where you could find the hack, though it wasn't actually zomg.com, there was a four letter word after zomg which I can't recall. Kind of awe inspiring at first, had the back of my head blown up while gormlessly watching this vehicle balet. Crap, annoying and laggy after about 2 minutes though.

yeah its not real harmful but when it gets put over a airfiled or a large grouo of infantry it chaos as wella s unbeleivable lag.

Yeah definitly, if something looks challenging, people will attempt it. Declare you can not pass, someone will bolt past you haha. Build a bigger wall, and they'll build a bigger ladder, just to annoy you. Eye for an eye is human nature

The hack is all thanks to DICE not properly sealing the commander functions up(you would think dice ran checks on commander command option packets if their right or not). Thus the reason theres also an bug allowing you to use the commander menu to zoom when not commander. lol

I knew when I first heard about the new vehicle drop feature that it would spell BIG problems for BF2..

not just because hacks, the whole cardrop idea is a travesty and was implemented very very poorly

you have to admit it is kind of funny lol. I mean there are so many in the air they are crashing into each other and blowing up. I haven't seen this for myself, but i would probably just start laughing my a$$ off lol

It's funny for a little while, but it get's old fast.

These examples aren't even the worst I've seen...

Imagine that used carlot falling from the sky mixed in with endless artillery. Man... chaos. Cars getting nailed mid-air via the constant rain of falling shells, burning hulks flying randomly, and killer lag impossed by too damned much going on at the same time.

Yup, funny as hell for a short time, but then it becomes old and annoying.

Great to hear that. Sadly it will probably be clear for a few weeks and then another army of arrogant roaches will appear who think they can beat EvenBalance.

It's an arms race and it's never going to end.
This will always be the way of on-line games until such a time as the human race manages to find enlightenment and desides to stop treating eachother like pricks 90% of the time (and actively screwing each other over for 9%).

In other words, that ain't gonna happen so it's best to just get used to it.

The good news is a little birdy told me that Even Balance has figured out how to scan for this hack and is basicly just letting people move into the roach motel before the flip the switch and do some mass Hardware bans.

This hack is being seen more and more. I believe there were 2 people doing it on moongamers yesterday.
