Rules were you cant approach the carrier are stupid and should be against the ROE. What if somone takes of verticaly hovers above the carrier and gets constantly resupplied and then constantly shots down enemy aircraft useing there infinate supply of missles. But no ones allowed to kill the aircraft because its hovering over the carrier thats out of order IMO and is deffinatly exploiting and is possible under those types of rules.

Situations like this are a perfect example of why it's completely idiotic to impose these special and inconsistent rules on ranked servers.

All they do is give the lame admins an excuse to kick people for reasons that have nothing to do with the ROE.

I'd rather be spizanked into tommorrow 10 times a week at Wake, then listen to an admin and a player go through this he said/she said routine, over and over again.

No it is definately not fair, it happened to me once before and I got kicked on that instance because i was attacking an "uncappable base". You did the right thing, you have followed him and brought him down, he can run, but he can't hide.

It's a decent server, and yes, you can't baserape without all cappable flags, so the debris might of hit something, or it might have looked convincing enough to be considered baseraping from what the admin saw.

That is exactly the one I was thinking of. Go on their forums and let them know.

Yea, what you did was perfectly fine and 99 percent of the people that play the game correctly would have did the same thing. Find out what server it was so you can post it up and we can all avoid it. It's in your favorites.

yes its fair, if you were shooting him before he got to the carrier, then you had every right to keep on shooting him wherever he went

But... i hate the guys that can only get on your tail when you fly slow over a runway with half health, no skill noobies
