most times you go into a server these days someone is solo-ing, its very common

i do it all the time and its great trying to out think your enemy heli so you can get that one tv on him. both miss and its barrel rolls aplenty trying to get the next tv off first.

i even think theres a 2 v 2 heli competition somewhere, although a 1 v 1 would be good

Trust me he wasn't hacking. He's part of Warchild, which is one of, if not the top team in CAL.. He IS that good, and it is possible to solo as the others are saying.

Coz they're the best I've seen with those missiles

It's fun to rape in Wake and kill a bunch of morons (what 90% of the times won't happen with me because the pilot sucks), but chopper solo-ing, and still killing crews is something worthy bragging about.

yeah.. that was the one flying. well. i was the gunner and i could see the nose of the cobra pointing down when he shot us and before it hit us i saw the chooper turning to the left.

we got shot down 3 times before i my game crashed. is the cobra. my bad i confuse both helos. like i say. the guy was tving people while flying solo. like some kind of fire and forget. and how he can control the tv in a few second. remember when you leave the pilot seat in 1.3 the helo will turn off. you guys should pay attention to that. is there any way to get the pb screenshots?

I bet you were flying the Mi-28, isn't it? It's a big chopper and if your pilot doesn't evade, it's not hard to kill it.

There is no "fire and forget", you must control your missile unless the target is stationary or you lead the target's trajectory. BTW it is still possible to fly solo, because you have time enough to guide the missile before the chopper goes off.

What is with the Apache? the TV missile is like always so far down, so the pilot has to nose way up, its a hell of a thing to take out other choppers with. I have managed to take out other choppers with it, but its difficult to get into posistion to see them in your sights, its so far down compared to ones of BF2 Vanilla which pwn obviously.

Chopper solo-ing is annoying from both sides, but it is possible.

I want EA to fix it in the next patch, like have the guns not fire when there isnt a pilot.

Please, there is no Apache in the vanilla.

And yes, it is easy to solo choppers (to a certain extent). The most important is to down the enemy chopper before it has a chance to hit you, because once you switch to gunner you are way easier to be hit.
