What a bunch of retards, a map like Omaha Beach would never happens in BF2, and do you know why? Because we're living in Modern Society you *******. If there's an enemy bunkers firing at the troops, the airforce would drop a 50,000 pounds bomb on it and blow it up.

Oh, and Eddy, can you please tell me how you used the M95 to snipe someone out of the cockpit in the BF2 demo?

i remember ages ago a friend got the demo for bf2 and i still had it kicking around on my pc so i loaded it up to have a game with him and just put in my normal bf2 info and well my unlocks were still unlocked :)

yeah id love to see some bf1942 maps in bf2 i dont think midway would work to well with out the boats (battle ships) i would like to see Guadalcanal, lwo Jima, operation market garnden or Gazala humm maybe even Stalingrad or berlin:)

Oh if any map has to be added it has to be lost village from desert combat

I was very upset when I realized that the conversion of all BF1942 maps to the BFV engine was simply dropped and forgotten about.

I'd love to play ALL of the old BF1942 maps in the BF2 engine!!!!

The landing would be with the "rubber boats" .Maby 2 blackhawks.Very hard to get up with the enemy tanks,snipers and SAW's.

My absolute favorite map for 1942. That would be AMAZING. I just think they wont release it because EA cant come up with a story for it. I mean where would Normandy fit in with the overall 'story' *cough cough*?

I think the Omaha map sucked in 1942, the beach part was sometimes fun when everybody was storming it, with tanks on the hills going up towards the village but after the beach, it was such a boring and repetetive map.

ok but where did brining back a map of a now unihabited island have revelance? they should have done the Philipenes where there is actually an insurgeny in place.

wake island would be a VERY valuable fortification for anyone wanting to invade the US, Its got an airfield, and its very close to US soil.

I think it wouldnt hurt EA to add a load of diffrent ranked maps,it will keep us all interested
