I haven't gotten the expert one, but I have the veterans. I used this strategy and got close to 30 explosives kills. Basically in Karkand (be MEC), when the game starts, run over to one of the fence openings and place a C4 on the wall. When someone walks through, blow him up and do it again. And have a support dude keep restoring ammo. You can possibly get 10-15 kills doing that if you can run pass the grenade fest in the beginning.

When they get past hotel, climb up the Square building and drop C4 to keep blowing up people, ask commander for supply drops. You can get about 5-10 kills before enemy artillery comes down (if you can survive, then you probably can get more).

For the rest, you're going to have to go C4 jeeps. Ram into everything: tanks, jeeps, APC, squads, monkeys... This should get you at least 10 or so kills.

The only problem is that the game wasn't long enough for the C4 jeep part. All I needed was 3 more runs and I could have gotten it --

Karkand with C4, I did not want to resort to anything too cheap heres what I did.
Entered a 64 player server with about 25 ppl. Now, I can get 15 or 20 kills just by C4' ing tanks and flgs, so I knew all I needed above my normal round was 10-15. I took 1 of my teams APC's and C4'd it, (hold on its not what you're thinking). I would drive up to an enemy, not firing my cannons at him, hop out and run. He would hop in the APC to kill me and BOOM!
I only did that 10 or 15 time in the middle of the round and spent the begining and end doing the normal C4 at flags and tanks. I cant just do the C4+vehicle thing thats cheap but it works, so I modified it.

Anybody have any good tips? Im losing my mind trying for this badge. Vetren was a lil bit of a challenge, but 30 kills, im going nuts. I try and enter a long server but its never long enough. Iv tried with c4, mines and clays. I seem to get about the same amount everytime with any of them, 20-25. I have been trying on Karkand and sharqi.

If you have SF, here's what you should do:

- Join a warlord 24/7 server (30-40 players max)
- Wait for the SAS to cap a flag in the palace
- Spam claymores in their flag room or all over the palace

It's cheap, you might even get kicked by some admins but you'll definitely get the badge you covet so much :p

I got my expert badge on Dalian plant. Instead of going straight for the choppers, i drove a little jeep as fast as i could for the first 3 flags (closest to carrier) and droped AT mines where the tanks and vehicles would spawn. That way when the vehicles would spawn they would cover up the mines. The enemy would take the flag and i'd just look to the left of my screen and watch the kills flood in

that's quite cool, but didn't the mines blow when the vehicles spawned? Or did they just blow when people started driving?

I got mine on Fushe Pass by hanging out at the Mine entrance flag once we captured it.

The other team just kept rolling in APC's and tanks to the flag through a bottleneck in that map that leads to the Mine Entrance. As they would aproach I waited off to the side and planted C4 on thier sides then would wait until they got to the Mine Entrance gate or beyond before I would blow it.

They just never seemed to realize quite where I was and would only be cautious at the Gate thinking thats where I was planting the C4. Of course not all the kills were planted directly on them.. sometimes I would lay two on either side of the road in the green grass and shaded area.. which made them difficult to see even with the trained eye.

When it came close to getting the badge I alternated to claymores at the flag radious to catch some unsuspecting soldiers that would leave thier vehicles to approach it, or becuase my other team mates made thier vehilce not worth driving.

This was also done before the patch, but I was able to still get the kills needed which I believe was 37 at the time. So it all depends on your tactics and the Map, the way people are using vehicles and the time in the round, obviously more time is best.

If you can pack all those things into one round it makes it almost a given that you will receive it.

PS What is this crap about EVERYONE before the patch Frisbeed the C4? It was most of the time placed directly onto vehicles or places.. but once I saw a guy in Mashturr City going around launching C4 then detonating while it was still flying in the air. But that was one moron.. not everyone.

Well yeah, but IMO it's harder to get 30kills without frisbee than getting 37kills with frisbee.

Wasn't it easier to get the C4 badge before the patch? You do all those C4 frisbeeing and stuff . It's alot harder now, at least with the C4...

Before the patch you needed 37 kills IAR, so its a bit easier now.

Best to play a 64 server. Place c4 on jeep drive and let rip or you can place c4 around a flag at Karkand say the hotle and boom. Then go and play sniper drop claymores around corners and mines this I have found great, but no doubt exspect to get peoples backs up. Use map like Karkand I gain my knife badge at this map as medics tend to not look what they are doing.

Wasn't it easier to get the C4 badge before the patch? You do all those C4 frisbeeing and stuff . It's alot harder now, at least with the C4...

I have SF... it was a 64 server with about 20 guys on it at the time... I claymored the palace constantly.

or if u have SF do it on iron gator or the palace in warlord, it annoys the hell out of ppl but just laugh at them if they had the sense and the measn to do it they proabably would, saying htta i'v aint got veteran :p
