I think that "Whining" here will potentially show would-be commanders that acting this way gets you no respect... if even one person was impacted not to be a douche because of a thread like this then it was a good thread. As players, standing up together against people who harm the community shows that we wont put up with their crap... and when has that ever been a bad thing?

IMHO, it hasnt.

But I digress.


(Also, If he was the highest rank on the server than he was a high rank... he could be a Corporal on a server full of privates... same difference. Relative to the rest of the server, he was high.)

Well on topic there is nothing worse than that kind of caommander, but what happened to me yesterday ranked in the realm of stupidity also, I was in a team with no commander 10 minutes after the round started, we where being whooped, so I enlisted as one (I rarely play as commander cos I don´t like it)...30 seconds later one idiot starts a kick vote.
Do people like to play without commanders? Withou UAV an arty help?
The kick vote should only be possible at least 5 minutes after the commander applied for the Job, to stop this idiots of doing this kind of ########.

Sergeant major is NOT a high rank. Most of the people I play with his rank.

Who's got that kind of time to waste? lol. I'll continue to play as I always have and follow the responsible orders of my commander and start squads for people to join...

I was one of only 2 squads total. One had 4 people and mine had me (plus one more who joined late in the round). We cant force people to join squads but I started one to encourage people... Acting like a jerk doesnt inspire people to follow your orders and spamming me to repair your arty doesnt accomplish anything.

Our team won that round in spite of our childish commander.

I forgot to mention him dropping arty on me in my APC... that was a real classy move also. Anyway... he's an idiot.

No doubt he was harsh... but last night while I was playing I kept seeing the message "Maximum number of squads reached" (I was already in a 6 man squad) and I looked and there was a 6, 4 and then there were 8 one man squads... He probably had to put up with a lot of this and suspected that you were doing this. He was harsh of course, but it might help to understand why he was harsh.

I don't understand why people make solo squads. Is it just to get supplies and stuff from the commander or is there some other reason?

Ya, he was quit harsh... a lot of 'FU's to everyone playing. When everyone was complaing... this was his response:

On the other hand, he just wanted the team to win. Some folks just get a bit emotional about the game despite violating the server rules (cursing, abusive language, commander whoring). I've seen worse.

Your better off to go onto Moongamers forum or their TS and tell them about him. If you had a problem in-game with him jump on Moongamers TS and they will help you out.

The worst part was that for some reason we couldnt mutiny vote him and, as you can see, he is a high rank, so he kept getting commander uncontested. blah...i hope he reads all this...

lol he's been banned from 3 servers... just noticed that one.
