BF2 is a great game, but there have been some pretty useless changes made to the game play overall. I think this game could have potentially destroyed Counter-Strike as the all time King of the FPS. However, removing the ability to join a squad while dead after a whole year is just stupid as can be amopng other things.

2nd, close after SWAT4.

BF2 offers a huge impact on a new player who doesnt know what to expect, but it gets boring extremely fast if you dont know your niche, especially if infantry combat isnt interesting you much.

really? i used to play with ChromeDioxide, and he wanted me to get it so we could play. at the time, i didnt have the money, and never ended up getting it. i might have to pick this one up. maybe i can find ol' CD and run with him... funtimes with that guy. thanx for the heads up.

Its good allright, but youll hate it for the lack of dev support. Major drawback is no anticheat software. So playing in adminned servers is the ONLY option.

BF2 offers a flavour of something completely different and SWAT4 wont interfere with BF2 love. Youll see why from the video.

The answer depends. When it first came out, I'd have given it a 9/10 and it was my #1 gaming priority for ages. In its current state after all the patches and changes, I rate it 4/10 and too frustrating to play at the moment.

Not necessarily. The forum is filled with discontented people who cant get the game to run :)
