Wow, I just had the most fun-filled 3 hours ever with BF2-online. Could it be the people who constantly whine are also the biggest smacktards of the game?

Please stay away from the game! I'm having so much fun playing today without you people. In fact, keep the boycott going indefinately!

Gamespy: 7000 Bf2 servers, 30k active players. This boycott is going well.

ROFL i thought the same thing, i haven't been TK'd for a plane all day so far - if you took part in this attention seeking boycott then please stay away forever - NO-ONE MISSED YOU :laugh: :laugh:

Its making me laugh as Im reading these forum posts while participating in the boycott. Its like all these guys posting up about how lame they think the boycott is, are so utterly addicted to a mere PC game that they cant even go a day without playing it, not even just to see if this boycott makes any difference. Seriously people, go get a life. Im getting a suntan atm and am perfectly happy and capable of not playing BF2 for 24 hrs. lmao

People are also posting up how much fun the servers are at the moment and how it should stay this way. Could this possibly be because all the skilled players (i.e.CLAN players) are all boycotting and finding other things to do, which lets the noobs actually feel like they are contributing to the game for once as there is no-one left to own them? Just a thought...

BF2 boycott day is silly. You already generated the sale for EA so they don't really care if you boycott. Additionally, if everyone quit playing BF2 tomorrow, EA would be happy. They already have your money, and now they wouldn't have to hear all the complaints and whining.

If you don't like the way EA and Dice have handled BF2 then take the CD and throw it away or sell it on ebay, and be done with it.

I find no relation between skilled players to clan players when it comes to public servers. Even in clan scrims, many clan players are not skilled >_>.

Nobody would have known it was taking place without this thread, thats how little impact it made to player numbers :laugh: I think it was only the griefers and TK'ers that generally took part

Erm almost 400 server owners took part and thousands of players took part. Its also fairly plausible that as well as the ABR petition(which got EA's attention) the boycott likely influenced the recent updates on EA's website and forums although they will never officially say that it did.

All the people on this forum that said petitions get you know where, they wont listen, whats the point of a boycott etc. Well your looking stupid now considering that those things people thought were pointless did indeed work.

Now lets just hope EA follow through this there recent updates.
