hi thanks for the list, alot of effort went into it i guess. What drivers do u recommend for performance, ive tried a few sites, but im back with Nvidia forceware again as i cannot find another decent set of drivers that give performance, Thanks

I keep it a sticky if I were you, just because this could solve so many problems before people decide to create a post about the newest drivers, etc.

If there is enough demand, I could probably keep it mostly up-to-date and re-sticky this..I check my favourite vid card driver sites daily for new versions.

It would be a shame for all this work to 'go to waste'. Sure, it's still possible to find it using search..but who uses search anymore?

    FYI
nvidia 77.72 give me best in-game performance (BF2, FEAR, Doom3, FarCry, HL2 etc etc etc). But 81.95 give me the best 3dmark score.

Maybe it can help your in game fps too. Specs in sig.

    Best of luck!

As for regular PCI video cards go, the best I have found is the 5700LE w/256Mb. Manufacturers do not make anything with a faster core for PCI because the bandwidth to and from the card would make no difference anyway, unless you overclock the PCI bus. As for any comprobable ATI products go, I am unsure. Maybe they have something...
