    I have 3200+ Barton 7900GT 512MB and 380W PSU. Dont buy it unless you want to spent your money.

    How would i know that my psu is acting up and while on this topic, i have 1 gig of ram with a 7600GT and im playing on 1280x1024 with everything on high including 4x AA, I play it will around 40fps, I i get 2 gigs of ram would i be able to play it smoother?

    eh.... I'm a cheap bastard, so if it were me, I would sit tight until it starts acting up.

    Short of massive arcing failure, the most a weak PSU can do is cause your computer to freeze up or reboot under stress.

    If you can play BF2 at reasonable settings on your current PSU then it is probably fine.

    It's your money though, champ.

    no, i have no problems with the psu i have but im worrying that i got a cheap knock-off and it will not work in a few months

    I typically dont get new PSU's until old ones become a problem.

    I had an Antec 350 for like 3 or 4 years, then my system got progressivly less stable and replaced it with a nice 500 watt model.

    Are you having problems that could be associated with a PSU or are you just looking to do a little "future-proofing"?

    yes the upgraded PSU wouldnt hurt, as most of the newer cards like 350w plus, 550 to 700w should be good and will be ok if you add more fans, sli cards, if you can
