The big Lost Ark update that dropped earlier today contains a mix of endgame nerfs and some nifty little extras. The nerfs are mainly aimed at the game's challenging Abyssal Dungeons and Guardian Raids. Today's update also adds in an Abyss Raid activity as well as the Arkesia Grand Prix racing event.

That's right, you will be able to race around a special track. You can participate once per day in the event. Just show up to the track on any even hour to participate. The event will turn you into a triceratops looking creature called a naruni. You will join one of two teams for the event. Crossing the finish line will reward you with a lot of cake.

Players will need to be at least level 50 in order to participate in the grand prix. Talk to the Arkesia Grand Prix Manager in any major city to enter.

This March update also adds in some brand new cosmetics that you can purchase from the in-game storefront. Specifically, it adds in the Omen Set, which is a blend of black, dark greys, and green accents. There is a package deal for this set which also includes a wallpaper for the character screen and a ghost horse mount.

This update also includes the Abyss Raid, which sees players facing off against a boss named Argos. Today's update also includes the next story episode, Kadan. So, if you've somehow run out of things to do already, you can now tackle this new content once you've downloaded the near 6GB update.

The full patch notes mention various fixes for bugs. This includes fixes for the client becoming unresponsive when switching to fullscreen and alt-tabbing out of the game. There is also talk about the first season of competitive PvP in the Proving Grounds, which will begin later in March. A new set of 25 daily log-in rewards has also cycled in for you to earn.
