Square Enix just released the final trailer for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin today, even though the game won't be out until March 18, 2022. It's a baffling choice to release the "final" trailer almost two months ahead of release, but with a game like this it seems to be about par for the course.

For those of you who have forgotten, or simply don't remember, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is that "chaos!" game that was announced back in June 2021. It's also a retelling of the first Final Fantasy RPG that was released. It's being developed by Team Ninja and Square Enix and while nobody says "chaos" in this new and final trailer, that doesn't mean the trailer itself isn't any less chaotic.

This trailer is like two totally different trailers in one. Just when you think it's done, you move your mouse to the progress bar and see that the trailer is only half over. Buckle up, because you're about to watch something real special here.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is out on March 18th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC as a timed exclusive with the Epic Games Store.

Oh wait, wait. When I said there wasn't any actual "chaos" included in the trailer, I hadn't yet read the video description. Square Enix thankfully included some chaos for all of us. We can all rest easy.

Pre-order the Digital Deluxe version to receive a Digital Artbook, Digital mini-Soundtrack, Season Pass, and all the additional bonuses.

“We're Strangers. That means two things: One, we're strangers to this world. And two, we're strangers to ourselves.”

The four fiends of chaos are waiting. As you battle the darkness consuming the world, recover your past and discover your true purpose.

With a multitude of job classes, abilities, and combos you can face the hordes of darkness your way!
