Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye will be the first and only expansion for the time-looping adventure title. This expansion will hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 28. A release on the Switch for the full game will come a bit later during the "Holiday 2021" season.

The expansion was actually leaked via Steam earlier this year. The DLC is being touted as the game's "first and only expansion," and was officially announced as part of an Annapurna showcase earlier today.

The reveal trailer showed fans next to nothing. We see a spaceship, we see the familiar planetary system from the base game, and a little look at an underground location. This expansion will supposedly be integrated directly into the existing world and story, but no details on how that will be accomplished were revealed.
