It has been about a year since New World from Amazon Games was initially supposed to be released. Here we are a year later and while it still isn't out yet, it does have a brand new trailer to share. Amazon Games has been working diligently on this open-world MMO. The latest trailer takes players "deep into the Amrine Excavation."

To put it another way: This new trailer shows off a five player dungeon that "takes place in a notorious dig site where a famed archaeologist and his team were last seen alive." Ah, well why didn't you just say so in the first place? Players will venture into the depths of the dig site to "discovery what happened with the Ancient technology they unearthed."

New World is slated to be released on the PC on August 31, 2021, assuming there are no more delays. You can pre-order now from either Steam or Amazon and those that pre-order the game now will get access to the closed beta that begins on July 20.
