With the Call of Duty League Play finally underway again after the winter break, CoD fans are started to get excited on how this season is going to pan out. Having played the weekend warm-up preliminary games and the first and second round of fixtures underway, we are starting to get a feel for how the league is going to pan out this year and which teams to look out for and below we showcase who we believe are the top three teams in the league this year.

Of course, Atlanta FaZe are always going to attract a strong following due to their FaZe collaboration. Not only have they got a popular following, but they’ve also got one of the strongest squads on the roster right now, much like they did last season. FaZe were consistently near the top of the ranking. They have one of the strongest rosters on the Circuit, especially with Abezy and Simp but the addition of Arcitys this year might push them towards the title this year.

We couldn’t mention this list without the current champions of the CDL is Dallas Empire who are the current world champions. They are quite easily the number one roster on the circuit and have one of the hardest teams. This isn’t just due to the sheer quality that they have in Shotzzy, Huke, ILLeY and Crimsix but the teamwork and comms between the team is second to none and shows why they became world champions last year. They have had to drop Clayster this year which might affect the chemistry on the side but that is something that we will be keeping an eye on this year.

And finally, our surprise package for the list year is actually Minnesota Rokkr who we believe might ruffle a few feathers during the season this year. They have had a total mix up this year as they sacked off the whole of their team from last year due to their poor performance and brought in a whole new roster of Accuracy, Attach, MajorManiak and Priestahh. This roster is now littered with star quality, which Attach who was in with a chance of becoming MVP last year and the others are equally as talented. If you are looking for odds on who is most likely to become world champions or MVP this year on CDL, there are many betting sites not on gamstop which are offering odds on all eSports as well as a host of different sports and all on the promise that your betting fun won’t be limited by Gamstop.
