Though originally planned to be released in 2020, Chivalry 2 was pushed back to a 2021 release. We did not know exactly when in 2021 that would happen, but we fortunately do now. Chivalry 2 will be released on June 8, 2021 with a closed beta starting on March 26. This was announced earlier today during the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase event.

The game will feature 64-player maps complete with objectives that must be carried out. There will also be smaller deathmatch style modes if you would rather have a go at just murdering instead of playing the objective. Torn Banner Studios says that you can either be tactical in your combat approach or you can be the guy running around screaming. There's a place for everyone and every skill level on the Chivalry 2 field of battle.

Chivalry 2 will be a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store when it releases in June. The closed beta runs from March 26-29 for those that pre-order the game (affiliate code "zips" for the Epic Games Store).
