Playground Games just announced that they are bringing Forza Horizon 4 to the Steam platform this March. Specifically, their open-world racing game will be available on March 9 through Steam. Though it's still about a month away from its Steam debut, that shouldn't stop you from adding Forza Horizon 4 to your Steam Wishlist.

Forza Horizon 4 has been out now on the Xbox One platform and PC via the Windows 10 Store for about two years now. It originally came out on October 2, 2018. It features a fictional version of Great Britain where the seasons change every so often. There are also a couple of expansions that were released for the game. The first was Fortune Island expansion that features a new map, new cars, and extreme weather conditions. There was also the Lego Speed Champions that features LEGO versions of real cars, a new map built entirely in LEGO pieces, and a radio station that solely plays "Everything is Awesome" from The Lego Movie.

Forza Horizon 4 also had several car packs released over the course of its life. These packs are in addition to the over 600 cars that are already available to purchase and drive in the game already.

Cross-play is indeed a feature that will be included in this release. You will be able to join your friends and play with them no matter which platform they own Forza Horizon 4 on.

Since 2018, the Horizon Festival has attracted racing and automotive fans thanks to beautiful, historic Britain’s breathtaking scenery in a shared world where together, everyone experiences changes in time of day, weather, and seasons.

Thanks to our community, gameplay in Forza Horizon 4 is more expansive than ever before with battle royale inspired racing via The Eliminator, added rewards for stunning in-game photography with Horizon Promo, and reinvented community-created challenges with the recent arrival of Super7. In this newest game mode, beat seven random challenges in a row for an exclusive reward, and even create your own custom challenges featuring structures and scenery—whatever you want, wherever you want.
