Activision Blizzard tweeted out some of the highlights from their earnings conference call that took just took place. You can begin to read about those right here on Twitter if you are so inclined. However, the big news from today wasn't how well (very) Activision Blizzard is performing.

No, the big news today is that Activision Blizzard confirmed that neither Overwatch 2 nor Diablo IV will be out this year. This little tidbit was first shared by none other than Geoff Keighley via Twitter.

Overwatch 2 was first announced at BlizzCon in November of 2019. This game will feature a shared multiplayer component with the current Overwatch but will also include some new PvE content.

Diablo 4 was also announced at the same BlizzCon 2019 event as Overwatch 2. It is supposed to take place after the events of the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion.
