On February 24, 2021, Old School RuneScape will be released on Steam. This much loved MMORPG comes as part of Jagex's mission to bring the entire RuneScape universe to a wider audience. It's already available on both mobile and PC, but being on Steam certainly cannot hurt.

The game currently has a coming soon page up on Steam where hopeful fans can add it to their Steam Wishlists. It ain't the most beautiful of MMO's but it certainly has an ability to scratch that deep MMO itch that a lot of players constantly go back to time and time again. It can also run on what is essentially a potato of a PC.

The Steam release will include a special Steam Community hub that includes weekly announcements, guides, articles, artwork, and videos. There will also be Steam Achievement support along with optional membership packages that can be purchased.

Old School RuneScape continues to be a juggernaut in the world of MMOs. It recently had a record breaking 157,000 players logged on concurrently. The developers at Jagex continue to release new updates for the game on a regular basis though the game itself is largely player-driven. The game itself has more than 8 million installs on mobile devices and is regularly in the top 10 most viewed games on Twitch.
