Farm on a beach, plus tons of other additions!

ID:	3507583An early Christmas surprise awaits all of the Stardew Valley fans out there, and we know there are many of you. Today, developer Eric Barone dropped the 1.5 update as a little early Christmas gift for fans. The full changes can be found here.

One of the biggest additions in 1.5 is the inclusion of a new farm type: The beach farm. This farm is great for "foraging and fishing" and features "tons of open space." While great for fishing, it may not be so hot for farming due to the sand not allowing for sprinklers to work.

Of course, that isn't everything new in 1.5. This is being called "the biggest solid chunk of new content that's been added to the game since launch." There are some "significant 'late-game' content" also added to Stardew Valley.

Among these other additions and changes is the inclusion of local split-screen co-op! Here is a look at some of the other changes and additions made in 1.5.
