A new season is just a day away.

On December 15 (tomorrow as of this posting), a new season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will kick off. This new season brings some fresh content including a new final stage and crown ranks for winners. The developers at Mediatonic are adding a winter theme to the new season.

Seven new stages are being added to the game. You will also be able to earn new costumes while using new gameplay mechanics to give cause a little bit of a ruckus with your fellow players. One of the new stages has you chasing down and holding on to pegwins, little penguin looking buddies. Hold on to them for points. Another level has you sliding down a giant ice slide and diving through rings.

A new final matchup level is being added to the rotation. This new level will have you trying to carefully navigate a set of tiles to avoid falling to your doom. Unlike the similar Hex-a-Gone level, Thin Ice will allow you to step on an icy title three times before it breaks. Also, there is only one layer instead of many stacked on top of each other.

Crown ranks are another new addition to Season 3. This is a new progression system that will track the number of wins you've earned. Crown ranks will unlock golden versions of costumes in addition to some exclusive color combinations and patterns for the little bean characters.
