Death Tales is out today on the Nintendo Switch, with a release on the PlayStation 5 slated to drop in January. This action-RPG is a follow-up to the games Plague Road and War Theatre, for those who are familiar with those two titles.
Today's new adventure is now available through the Nintendo eShop and comes with a 40% launch discount in North America and Mexico. This launch discount runs from now through to December 23rd.
A limited physical release is planned to happen later in 2021. In addition to the physical release and the PS5 release in 2021, there will be new content coming to the game. This includes the addition of online co-op, the Tale of the Plague Doctor add-on content, and Tale of the Soul Baerer coming later.

- Over 40 pieces of equipment for you to acquire to customize your Reaper and aid in battle!
- Find equipment in a variety of well-hidden chests, or use the souls you collect as currency to buy items from the local vendor, Fiona.
- Mix and match armor and harness the power of the unique skills such as fireballs, the ability to freeze enemies, angel wings allowing you to glide to safety, summon meteors from the sky, and even stampeding unicorns!
- Join forces with a friend locally. While in local co-op, Player 2 controls Spaura, the Reaper’s Soul Bearer. Online co-op will be coming after launch, players can play as their own customized Reaper.
