Release date revealed today for Switch owners.

It has been a long time coming, but the release date for DOOM Eternal for the Nintendo Switch is finally known to the world. That date is none other than December 8. December 8 is the date in which the game will launch digitally on the Switch.

The Switch version of the game was developed in pa partnership with Panic Button. This is the same studio that brought over Switch ports of the 2016 DOOM, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Because of them, players can now rip and tear either at home or on the go.

The Switch release includes motion aiming. This optional aiming method utilizes the Switch's built-in gyroscope for precise aiming.

Also included is the game's Battlemode feature. This pits two player-controlled demons against a fully armed DOOM Slayer. They will fight it out for the best of five rounds match.
