The second character for the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 announced.

Nintendo revealed earlier today that Steve and Alex from Minecraft fame will be added to the list of fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The two are actually the second character reveal for Fighter Pass Vol. 2, with the first being Min Min from Arms. The DLC pack is $29.99 (USD) for all of the fighters including Min Min, Alex, and Steve. There are still four additional fighters that have yet to be revealed in this pack.

The trailer reveal, seen below, shows off Steve in action. Players can swap between Steve and Alex if they so desire. You can also swap to Zombie or Enderman alternatives.

The game devs say that they actually had to rework existing stages so that blocks could be placed within them. A longer look at Steve and co. will take place on October 3 at 10:30AM (ET) that shows a deeper look at their play styles. A release date for Steve will be made on that date as well.
