Will be a F2P release.
Genshin Impact

Developer and publisher miHoYo announced today that their latest open-world action-RPG, Genshin Impact, will be released on September 28 for the PC, Android, and iOS devices. This will be a free-to-play release that will allow you to join up with some friends to go exploring the open world lands of Teyvat. Not only that, but there is also cross-platform support for the co-op gameplay for up to four friends.

Players assume the role of a mysterious Traveler who is trying to find their lost sibling. As with most games of this type, along the way the Traveler "unravels the mysteries of themselves and the world."

Here is a bit about the limitations of the F2P nature of the game.

As a free-to-play online title, Genshin Impact enables players to explore Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor – two of the seven major cities in Teyvat – each with unique cultural ambience, stories, vast surrounding landscapes full of diverse creatures and enemies, mysteries, and hidden treasures. Furthermore, the game will continue to expand with more cities, following stories, new characters and seasonal events through live-service updates to enrich the gameplay and expedition in the continent of Teyvat.
There is already pre-registration opened on Google Play and the Apple App Store starting today. All players can invite friends to pre-register together via the game's official website. Doing so will net you and your friends "a slew of milestone rewards."
