Rogue Legacy 2

After a little teaser yesterday, Rogue Legacy 2 was given an official announcement today. The reveal came via the developer's Twitter account @CellarDoorGames. Through the social media site, the team released a 3 second teaser, a sample of the music, and a few work-in-progress screenshots.

You can find all of that below. In addition, the studio says that they will be releasing more information in the days ahead. This is literally all we know about Rogue Legacy 2 right now.

The original Rogue Legacy was a smash hit with critics and fans alike. The game originally came out back in 2013 and has since made its way to nearly every available platform including PC, Linux, macOS, PS3, PS4, Vita, XB1, Switch, and iOS. The game was deemed a rogue-lite. Players were able to advance their skills before each attempt at beating the game. "Lives" were presented as a "next of kin" idea. As one character died, the next attempt would be handled by their son or daughter, each with their own randomly selected advantages and disadvantages.

The original game is still available for purchase for just $14.99 (USD).
