Caustic Reality and Blowfish Studios announced today that their psychological horror game, Infliction: Extended Cut, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 25, 2020. This "extended cut" of the game contains everything from the Steam version on PC with some added bonuses.
These bonuses include additional endings, a New Game Plus mode with remixed puzzles and new scares, increased difficulty, and "other surprises."
In Infliction: Extended Cut, you will dive head first into the tragedy that is plaguing a once happy home. You will follow Gary R. Pout as he tries to piece together the mystery of what happened. He will explore a "contorted version" of the residence as he searches for both for answers and a way out from the spirits that have trapped him inside.
Evade a relentless paranormal pursuer by ducking into closets, darting under beds, or utilizing light sources like camera flashes to make a fleeting getaway and continue Gary’s search. During the struggle to survive, pore over household objects for secrets, hidden messages, and clues to find new paths, make revelations, and hopefully bring this terrifying ordeal to an end.
A supernatural story permeated by real-world worries and anxieties that strike close to home, Infliction probes mature existential themes while delivering story-driven scares and an ominous, otherworldly, dynamic atmosphere sure to unsettle, thrill, and leave horror buffs thinking.
