The once Apple Arcade exclusive ventures on to other platforms today.
Mosaic

Your life sucks. You live a monotonous life. It has no meaning. Your city is cold and overpopulated. You're a nobody amongst groups of other nobodies. You work long days at a big corporation and get zero recognition. Day in and day out it's the same thing...

Until one day strange things start to happen on your otherwise routine commute to work. This is the setup for the story behind Mosaic, a game that was just released today for PC, macOS, and Linux. The game, which can be yours right now through either Steam or GOG, used to be an Apple Arcade exclusive title. It's priced at just $19.99 (USD) on those digital platforms. It's also looking to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch some time in Q1 2020.

Mosaic is developed by Krillbite Studios. They are the same devs that made the horror game Among the Sleep. We apparently reviewed Among the Sleep shortly after its initial release almost five years ago.

Mosaic offers a world that is both utterly surreal and eerily familiar. Mosaic offers a strange experience about urban isolation, delves into our relationship with modern tech, explores the feeling of being a tiny piece in a massive incomprehensible machine, and the longing for something more in your life.

With a repetitive existence in an overcrowded city, you’ll live out the tedium of everyday life—until strange events start to occur. Inspired by the monotony of daily distractions and routines, Mosaic weaves a dark, slow-paced, and evocative journey through moments of hope that are waiting to be discovered if you can resist the drudgery of the system.

The time has come to ask yourself,
are you ready to lift your gaze and subvert your complacency?
