This new update delivers tons of new content.
Stardew Valley 1.4

The 1.4 update for Stardew Valley is out now for the Steam and GOG versions of the game. Though PC players will get the goodness today, the console and mobile releases of Stardew Valley will be out "soon."

What's included with 1.4? Well, it might be easier to say what isn't included with 1.4. This update includes a lot of quality of life improvements, a lot of community requested features, a lot of bug fixes, some optimizations, and new content for both the single player and cooperative players out there.

ConcernedApe offers up a relatively spoiler-free overview of the 1.4 update. However, if you want the full list of changes you can always check those out as well. Just keep in mind that the full changelog leaves everything out on the table and you will be spoiled. For those that like to find everything out on their own, it would be wise to avoid that changelog for now.

A few of the highlights in 1.4 include:
  • A new end-game mystery involving an abandoned building.
  • A new 14-heart event for every spouse.
  • Fish ponds that can be placed.
  • Over 60 new items.
  • 24 new hairstyles.
  • 181 new shirts.
  • 35 new hats.
  • 14 new pants.
  • 2 new boots.
  • Junimo Kart has been almost complete re-done.
  • Upgradable shed size.
  • Emote menu.
  • New monsters and mine levels.
  • Collections tab now tracks all letters received.
  • 14 new music tracks.
  • New farm map: Four Corners
By the way, the game is 10% off from both Steam and GOG for the next week.
