A new trailer is out today for Kingdom Under Fire 2. This new footage gives players a look at the Spellsword, a character class that holds a mastery over ice and lightning magic. This new trailer will give players a fresh look at the "fantasy epic" that aims to combine real-time strategy with the MMO genre.
The Spellsword is set to be the first off five character classes revealed by developer Blueside and Gameforge. The other classes are the Berserker, Elementalist, Gunslinger, and Ranger.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 is priced starting at $29.99 (USD) for the basic version of the game. There are also $49.99 and $99.99 versions of the game that add in bonus and exclusive content like costumes, mounts, and more. All of you who pre-order the game will also get a "hero troop" and an exclusive title.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 is apparently slated to be released this November.
A relative of the Dark Elves, the Spellsword combines her magical runes to produce ever new attacks or to heal herself, compensating for her relatively shallow health pool. On the battlefield she darts and jabs with agility, wielding sword and scepter.
She was the fruit of a forbidden experiment that harnessed the power of the gods themselves to combine the blood of the Ancient Elves and the present-day Dark Elves. After barely escaping the appalling research, a Dark Elf with fair skin meandered through the world to live cast out from both the Elves’ and the Dark Elves’ societies. She found refuge with the Azilia Knights in a place where she could avoid the watchful eyes of possible pursuers.
Originally announced in 2008, Kingdom Under Fire 2 is an MMO-RTS hybrid genre game unrivaled in its epic scale. From developer Blueside, Kingdom Under Fire 2 is set in a world where three powerful factions — the Human Alliance, Dark Legion, and Encablossians — compete for control over the land of Bersia. Players can choose from several hero classes and focus on building up their individual characters or command massive armies as war strategists. Kingdom Under Fire 2 takes place 50 years after the events of Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and features an immersive story campaign that can be experienced in multiplayer online or in solo play.
