Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition

Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition is out today on the PlayStation 4. Players will get to experience over 100 levels, 13 of which are all-new for this release, as you play as a young girl trying to find her best friend. The soundtrack, created by Ben Prunty (Celeste, Into the Breach, FTL), also includes three additional tracks.

The game embraces "gravitational platforming" as you journey to "confront tragic loss." Oh no, please don't be a sad game.

Planets have different properties that will keep you on your toes as they bounce, break, repeal, and more. The game is presented with a hand-drawn style and features the vocal talents of Ashly Burch (Life is Strange, Horizon Zero Dawn) and Logan Cunningham (Bastion, Transistor).

Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition can be yours right now for $9.99 (USD) from the PlayStation Store. There is a limited run of 2000 physical copies that will be available starting August 9. These will be from, appropriately enough, Limited Run Games. The original release of Gravity Ghost is also still available for Windows, Mac, and Linux via Steam or completely DRM-free from the game's official website.

You can also find a bunch of additional screenshots from the release date announcement from July.

“My wonderful team and I are very excited to finally bring Gravity Ghost to the PS4.” said Erin Robinson Swink, founder, Ivy Games. “It’s a story deeply rooted in my childhood in Canada, specifically the ghost stories and nautical tragedies I heard, and I hope it resonates with players too. It is my hope that the story of a single family, with all its complications, can have the same stakes as a story about saving the world.”
