Nobody knows what the plans are yet.

This may not be the most exciting of announcements, but it does warrant some attention. Sumo Digital announced that they are currently working with 2K Games on some unannounced projects. Sumo Digital revealed that this development will take place at their Sheffield Studio and the recently acquired Red Kite Games.

Sumo Digital has a number of developed games under their belt. Recent releases include Crackdown 3, Snake Pass, Team Sonic Racing, and they are apparently still working on Dead Island 2. Dead Island 2 was first announced back in 2014, in case you forgot about that one.

All involved studios have remained rather quiet on this new partnership. The only thing that has really been stated comes from Gary Dunn, Sumo Digital's managing director.
