Bethesda claims that no mere "safe for work" words can possibly describe just what Rage 2 actually is. They are instead offering up an "explosive new trailer" to do the talking for them.

I haven't watched it yet myself, but I can only assume that the trailer is just swear word after swear word, plus a ton of explosions and violence. If nothing else, I'm sure the trailer has a lot of sick explosions and violence. I really can't see them releasing a trailer that's just wall to wall cussing, but you just never know!

Rage 2 is the sequel to the relatively "ho-hum" original Rage game that was released back in 2011. Much like its predecessor, Rage 2 is a FPS set in a post-apocalyptic world. Another key difference is the fact that Rage 2 looks far more colorful and over the top in comparison to the mostly bland looking original. I also doubt John Goodman is in Rage 2. However, Rage 2 will have the NBA Jam announcer, Tim Kitzrow.

Rage 2 will be released on May 14, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Bethesda.net Launcher and Steam.
