Those of you who have played Final Fantasy XV know that the driving in the game is a very "on rails" experience. You weren't able to take your adventure off road because the game would simply prevent you from doing so. Now, with the release of the 1.12 update, this has all changed.

You are now able to take your car, the Regalia, off road when you get a special Type-D customization. That customization literally turns the car into a monster truck. Nice.

The update is over 8.6GB in size and features some lovely changes like the items listed below.

As noted in the changelog, this update is coming just a day ahead of the release of Episode Prompto.
