Twitch is going to stream both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions to audiences this year. Not only that, but you can stream the Conventions to your own stream while providing your own commentary to your community.

If you know anything about the absolute horrendous cesspool of hell that the Twitch chat can end up being for large events, you'll understand why this is already a bad idea to begin with. Let's throw in politics on top of it, a topic that most streamers ban from their chats to begin with, for obvious reasons, and you'll begin to understand why this might be the worst idea in the history of live streams.

Twitch also made some new emotes for this, including yet another variation on the Kappa emote.
