Snipe started out at 21CW as (38ID)A|Pvt.FFSnipe in July 2004. He was recruited to the tournament by his good friend Kain, also assigned to Al Nida Company. Kain and Snipe were long time gaming buddies who were looking for something more from the gaming community. They both found their niche at 21CW. Kain has moved on to other ventures but Snipe has stayed on and is a Past (IC) - Internal Coordinator for 21CW.

After the conclusion of DC Camp 8 FFSnipe shortened his name to Snipe. Mainly because everyone called him Snipe and because it was easier to log into the forums. Everyone had assumed that Snipe chose his name because he loved sniper rifles. This was not the case. He chose the name Snipe because he was a Snipe in the US Navy. Snipes are typically Machinist Mates, Boiler Technicians, and Enginemen. Snipe was an Engineman aboard the USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53), an Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer.
