Well its a hotfix for a start based on their patch numbering system. Whether its soley to fix 1.21 hotfix problems or the rest of the problems we currently don't know but its definitely a "hot fix" otherwise the patch number would be 1.3Originally Posted by Ghilleman

Dude you need glasses I didn't say 1.03 I said 1.3Originally Posted by Wreck
There is a basis for their patch numbering system. eg patch 1.1 was the original SF patch that came with SF, 1.12 was the hotfix. 1.2 was a full blown patch 1.21 was a hotfix, see how it works now?
I know what you said, and I already have glasses. The 1.03 patch doesn't fit into your theory because it was a full blown patch.Originally Posted by <<R2>>Capt.HKS
1.0 beta game
1.01 patch/hotfix to original game
1.02 hotfix
1.03 patch
1.1 patch (included in SF according to you)
1.12 hotfix
1.2 patch
1.21 hotfix
Do you see how it works? I don't.
Yup I do they just made you believe that 1.03 was a full blown patch when it wasn't.Originally Posted by Wreck

It was actually the biggest patch to date, and took months to release so I don't see how it was a hotfix.
When it comes down to it, its really academic. Just because they don't call a patch a hotfix doesn't mean its not a bandaid fix for the previous patch. They didn't call 1.12 a hotfix though it obviously was. The term hotfix in itself is really a silly term.Originally Posted by Wreck
Going to the reason why I named 1.22 a hotfix for the hotfix is based on their patch numbering process which they said what they would do after 1.12. That was they announced they were going to support the community with patch 1.2 then the next was going to be 1.3 No mention was made past this patch numbering as to further support. 1.2 was supposed to be the "super patch" everyone was waiting for. It was a failure and even DICE/EA would admit to this now if they had to ala patch 1.21 hotfix.
I agree 1.03 was more than the hotfix type of patches we were use to but, it still wasn't anything major, they just lead us to believe it was. When it came down to it the main change was not allowing more than 1 person in any vehicle to count towards a flag cap.
If DICE/EA were to call 1.22 the hotfix for the hotfix it would be rather embarassing, well it should be, therefore they will probably try and make out its a full blown patch but do you really believe it will be? I don't and I'm sure nobody else will be fooled by it either.
EDIT remember patch 1.01 It merely hard coded some features that couldn't be changed like the number of tickets, the spawn time, can't password a ranked server etc. It wasn't called a hotfix either but guess what it really was.
Only big thing about 1.03 and the reason it was so big because it was the only patch to contain a new map, wake island. Other that that it wasn't really a major patch on the core game itself.
Agreed, whilst 1.01, 1.03 and 1.12 weren't called "officially" a hotfix, guess what they really were.Originally Posted by viper1431

By biggest I mean contained the most fixes and adjustments to gameplay, and not the actual size of the download.Originally Posted by viper1431
