Hi guys, if i remember correctly when 1.2 was going to be released they had said that all sniper,spec-ops,engineer could pick up all claymore,c4,mines. Now they couldn't fix this by 1.2 release so it got pushed back. But Dice released the claymore functionality without its opposite (the pick up). So i just wanted to get this out their so people thinking that claymores made the (1.2) way were done so purposely. I would expect DICE to get the pick up function in for 1.21 but seeing as 1.21 is only a bug patch, this might not happen. Also i just wanna say allowing clay's to be blown up was easier to deal with and code (i imagine) but eventhough i enjoyed that im looking foward to ho the pick function will change explosive use.

Unfortunately, too many people are crying about it now. Snipers will only be able to carry and deploy 2 at any time. THis is according to the 1.21 patch notes.
I agree with you, it would be nice to be able to pick them up as an engineer.
They just need to make them destroyable. It's silly being able to see them sitting there and not being able to do a damn thing about em (e.g. palace on warlord).
funny thing now is that i dont see that many claymores anymore...everyone is support
It was going to be class specific pick up. eg: spec-ops can only pick up c4, engies only mines.
So you're saying the reason for FF off on claymores is because they haven't implemented the pick up feature? Interesting thought, it makes as much sense as anything.
The claymores should just be able to be destroyed by explosives...easy to code and efficient.
buttom line, if they blow up by people waling in from of them, you should be able to set them off by shooting them of using an explosive on them.
Well, wait for patch 2.0. maybe itll come true then.Although i agree it would be nice to pick up my claymores.
