I was just wondering, what do you guys expect from people who play kits like medic nd support nd whathav ya?
I was goin around the forum nd i came across people who were complaining about players who dont play the kits properly.
Personally #1. i think medics should stay back about od direct fire but assisting in killing enemies while also reviving and healing teammates.
#2. Support should stay back to provide covering fire for teamates as they move forward, then moving forard again themselves and repeating (while resupplying teamates).
#3 Anti Tank should stay out of action only supporting and taking out tanks.
#4 Snipers should stay well far back and taking any shot they believe that will assist teamates.
#5 Special ops guy(forgot what called) should stick to flanking the enemy (sneak attacks) and also placing c4 traps, destroying commander assets.
#6 Assault should be main firepower, should concentrate on taking out enemies and covering teamates.
7# Engineers should mine choke points for enemy veihcles and repair teamates veihcles, assets.
Those are what i believe to be the 1st priorities for certain kits.
Feel free to say what you think they should do.
i sort of agree and disagree....all but assault are to stay back?!!!
i believe all 6 (apart from sniper) should attack and move together as a squad + yes all their own primary responsibilities you have said.
I agree with your points but at the end of the day there is no 'proper' way to play kits as it's completely up to the player, so they should do whatever they want.
Everyone plays kits to their own rules, for example if im Sniper I move around alot, pref at far distances from the enemy flag/spawns.
If im a medic I usually follow wherever lots of my teammates are.
If im Support, supply team with ammo, plus clear alleyways, not camp though.
If im Anit-tank, the first guns useless, don't have the DAO-12 yet, but if I am then use the AT to take out tanks/apc/humvees etc, and on a rare occasion use it too take out troops at LONG! distances.
If im Engineer, I repair sometimes, or use the Shotty to blast the Karkand alleyways, lay mines under enemy tanks etc.
Assault, just use it as an offensive weapon, never really use the GL unless its long distance or hitting a vehicle like a Vodnik, kills the driver.
Spec ops, blow up APC/Tanks, and whenever I can blow up the pack of people using the PKM's camping in the Karkand alleyway.
im with you but remember it is just a game...Originally Posted by mr12es

I'm going to drop some input here because its how the physics of the kits go but that changes during gameplay with every passing moment.
First off , do your kits stated job ... dont be a medic and not heals someone and so on. Iv'e sacraficed whole rounds to just heal , re supply ect just to keep the team going. Its never about you , its about US !!!!
Anti Tank , A definiate powerful kit if used properly, Althogh gratifying to hit that infantry soldier twenty feet away with a rocket , what ya gonna do when you need one more for that tank that has your whole team pinned down. Be smart here. Don't let your AT die , support him , cover him and make that armor burn. he holds that most powerful weapon in game and without it , you may as well sacarfice yourself to the armor to get it done and over with.
Medic , A force mulitplier !!!! When hes not cruisin around in a hummer or tank. Your job is to heal and revive. if a casualty is nearbye , lay covering fire if not take out that enemy then revive. If your not going to do that them cmon , why even try. 8 out of ten times the enemy is still nearbye and is looking for you. Stay out of hummer and driving , your a groundpounder and needed there. split the way you travel , if your getting shot at drop and drop a medic pack , then pull your gun. this can be the difference between yours and your squads success. Remember you cant drive and revive !!!!
Support , man with a big gun at that. Cmon with a gun like that ... throw some lead down alley boy. Your not meant to take pot shots. Your gun is meant to lay a hot wall of fire down upon the enemies head while your boys go in and mop up. If you wanna be a sniper then so be , but do it wit hthe proper class. You should be jumpin round corners and clearing areas before the rest of your team goes in. your 100 rounds per clip can change the tide of war , USE IT. Also you can re arm people , then do so ... Nothing is worse then running out of ammo or having to reload. make sure your boys run on full clips all the time and have extra ammo flowing out there ears. No one won a fight without ammo , so stop trying to make us do so.
Sniper. A force all in its own .... you have the ability to pick mofos off at great distance. well start doing so. stop engaging in hand to hand combat then. send your sniper in ahead of time to keep the enemy guessing and there heads down. wit ha sniper around , the enemy wont be moving much. plus the added advantage of sighting out a target area before infiltrating it. Claymores , drop some of them t defend a flag , make the m think twice about where they step. if they complain , send em some more i nthe mail.
Assualt , a real man with an attitude. you got some big hands to fill. but you also pack a powerful grenade launcher to use at distance. stop shooting it at your feet and start lobbing it down range to clear an area. heads are sure to roll with nades dropping in on them like rain. so start doing it. you got power in your hands. your a killer , so be that way. stop letting your sniper get picked off by a at guy running up on him. your job is to clear and clear and make them bleed. stop acting liek a sniper and go make some blood flow.
Engineer , so you tried jumping into a flag area full of guys with a auto shotgun of 7 rounds. How'd that work out for ya? Not to good eh. No wonder you got the wrench use it. keep your armor rolling as well as your commander assets, stop making him use supply crates o nthe stuff when there needed in the field. get back there and start turning some bolts. if your i na vehicle getting fired at , jump out o nthe opposite side and start fixing it. Ive done this countless times and saved that armor. stop expecting the commander and supply crates to pick up your slack. your gun is close combat , and is meant to be. Try using it to pick off a guy 100 yards away , doesnt work does it.
Spec Ops , One balsy mofo to be honest , you got a great gun some nades amd cmon C4. blow the **** outta some stuff. why waste a pack on one infantry dude when that tank is sitting right there mowing your guys down. have your boys lay some fire down on it and go up and give him a present. spike a road , take out some arty and uav's. be smart you got some power. use it wisely and dont abuse it. you guys are gonna need it.
I know this is basic but cmon , the kits are common sense. placement within the group is never nessecary , its about how you use it and how you work together.
Also , learn to not be kit specific. if you can handle all kits then do so. chances are your squad will never compose of the needed kits. so balls up and ask whats needed and give them a hand. You get mroe satisfaction fro ma game even if you lose if youve worked together as a team and kicked some arse.
The only problem with limiting kits to certain actions is the lack of teamplay in the game. You'll never find a situation where people are advancing flag to flag as a team (people in competitive play however, might be the exception - I've never played in that situation before). In a public server, it's chaos spanned over the whole map. You're lucky if you get one squad working together. I agree with everything being said, but unfortunately, rarely will a situation arise where this happens.
the worst
All I expect from the other players is a little help when requested. It doesn't really matter what kit they are playing....
-If I'm dead and there are no enemies around, I'm calling for a medic, and there is one standing damn near on top of me .... REVIVE ME.
-If I ask for first aid and there is a medic standing next to me .... give me a medikit. Don't run off.
-If I'm out of ammo and there is a supply guy nearby sniping with his pkm .... drop an ammo bag for me before getting up and leaving.
-If I'm standing 2 feet from your vehicle and ask for a ride .... don't leave without me.
-If I'm defending a flag and there are 5 teammates standing around waiting for a tank to spawn while the other team is capping the flag 20 feet from them and I ask for backup .... get your butt over to the flag and help.
-SPOT SPOT SPOT ... anything and everything. This helps everyone out.
-If you get in my chopper as a gunner, know how to use the TV missle because I will set you up for kill shots. I hate hovering only to be shot down because my gunner just stares at everyone in front of us.
-Don't TK me for jets and helis.
-Pay attention to the capture points. If there are only a handful of us left and we have no points, the rest of our team can't spawn. Don't camp out somewhere ... go cap a flag.
-Commanders .... don't drop arty on me or my squad while we cap a flag. Pay attention. Also ... supply crates are not just for your own personal use.
Obviously, these are all things that involve teamwork and for the most part the majority of players are only interested in their score and nothing else. Any time I come across someone who does any of the above listed things, I always make sure to thank them a couple times. Be sure to thank people because they will be more likely to help you or someone else out the next time it is needed.
