lately, I've been seeing this bug, on all maps except mass destruction.
notice the missile count, i thought 1.2 made the choppes only carry 8 ?, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, and some feedback.
the helos always carried 8 missles.
They just lowered the rocket count down to 8.
Those are 14 rockets, not missiles, he's in pilot seat.
Thats Special Forces, SF didnt have it's choppers restricted, they still have 14.
Ditto, i wonder is DICE forgat about it, and will make it 8 on the next patch. And for the guy at DICE or EA that said that 8 rockets is enough, you can go FYS buddy, decode that.Originally Posted by skunk-dogz

nah they said they were leaving it as 14 for SF.Originally Posted by papi4baby
I still don't understand. Exactly why would they nerf the missle count in vanilla, but not in SF? It's the same principle for them, and SF actually warrants the reduction of missles even MORE than vanilla does.
I mean with vanilla, there are way more threats to deal with (jets, more vehicles, more aa, ect), but in SF, all they have to counter you are the AA, so what were they thinking when they reduced the missle count of heli's in vanilla, but not in SF?
If it was one or the other, It should have been SF instead!
If you fly choppers in both vanilla and SF you will understand why.Originally Posted by D|sso
Its at least 30% harder to fly the choppers in SF for a start.
The rocket spread is wider on all the SF choppers, meaning more rockets wasted.
Night maps on SF make it harder.
It's only really Surge and Mass Destruction where you feel you have an advantage over the choppers on vanilla.
F***ing class maps as well.
wasnt it just bf2 that had its missiles reduced
I still dont understand why they nerfed the helicopter at all, what with the new aa even if the helicopter as it was before it would still be balanced.
