disable "empty vechile showing up on HUD"

ok i've barely asked for help, so dont flame me if it's been a well known and widely discussed topic.

i think i've seen the answer somewhere on this forum but apparently im unable to find it via search.

so is there a way to prevent empty vechiles from showing up on the HUD of jets when someone has just bailed out?

You don't want the empty vehicle to show up for the pilot?
Or you don't want the empty jet to show up for you?
Or for everybody else?

Another question I have is, why??

If whatever question your asking refers to other players the answer is 'No way to disable it for other players'. If it is applied to you only, I don't know and I have no clue.

as i said, when you are in bombing mode in a jet, it shows you the vechiles of which someone just jumped out as enemy vechiles. how do u turn it off?

i think it's a setting option in a con file. but i cant find it.

it's a bug? i thought DICE did this on purpose to make it more realistic... i dont know if the bomber is heat seeking?

yea that sux dude. sometimes even if u pay attention to the mini map, u still would think there's an enemy tank beside one of ur teammates while actually that guy is repairing his tank.

Now with your clarification it makes more sense.
And seeing that it went 9 hours without a reply and to getting multiple replies within minutes of your clarification, I can conclude that nobody else understood your original question either.

always thought it was heat seeking, because a jeep or something just used is still warm, but then again it does it on a bearly used groun AA, which im sure causes some heat from fired missles

If you fly a lot you would know what he is talking about. I knew what he was talking about just from his title of the thread.

I just don't think there is a fix. Hope i am wrong but will keep it bumped.
