We are back at it again with the need for actors! its a open casting call to come be a part of legendary video making status..
Sorry to off link to the offical forums but here is the link.

Alright so before we begin doing any filming, I'd like to write this Set Etiquette manual. Or as we call it, "Setiquette".
And before you ask:
TEAMSPEAK IP: lariondrive.com
BF3 FILMING SERVER: preview.tinyurl.com/blueserver
Unlike Battlefield 2, filming in BF3 resembles doing it the same in real life. Cameras actually have to be moved around for each shot, so the time it takes to shoot a scene is much longer.
Having no Battlerecorder doesn't mean its not possible, its just much harder, but in the end it pays off to have your name and your character in a project!
Here are some guides that will help you in filming, mainly for actors, but there are some directing tips here to speed up the production time. Everyone hates to be sitting there while you look around for angles or have to plan things on the fly.
Actors:
If you know you have to leave soon, don't bother coming. Nothing stresses out someone faster than saying, "Oh my mom says I have to be in bed in 30 minutes". Expect to be there for hours!
If you have a few hours to spare, let the director know ahead of time. Maybe shooting is expected to take no longer than one hour. Just dont say it in the middle of filming!
IMPORTANT: DO NOT Destroy ANYTHING in the map! The director may want that palm tree in the shot, running it over with the tank then taking down the building thats in the shot just forces us to restart the round and waste time.
When joining the server, stay quiet and wait for instructions. I know it might be tough, but repeating questions doesn't help. The Director should tell you what to spawn in with and where.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT spam over teamspeak, let them think. Only speak if its an emergency. Otherwise type in game! (Remember the director may not have his HUD open!) Tip: Use Push-To-Talk if you can!
Have an idea that may make the film awesome-er? Thats cool... Type it, don't say, "Hey dude how about we do..." Everything should have been planned ahead, if theres time left, we'll try your idea.
IMPORTANT:Don't do the shuffle: A lot of actors tend to move around with their WASD keys. Remember your 3rd person character does weird motions when walking around, or even stepping 1 foot. Avoid hitting WASD unless you're walking/running somewhere. Standing, shooting, etc = big no-no!
Sometimes the Director might have Teamspeak running on the same filming machine, this may interfere with audio. Or as common courtesy be quiet when shooting.
If you have time, read up on what you're shooting here on the forums, so you can understand what you're doing.
Please be mature at all times
Have a friend that wants to help? GREAT! But let the director or assistant director know first before they join, most of the times we might need someone, but sometimes having extra people just slows us down.
Don't stop acting until you hear cut, if you are suppose to keep driving a car. Keep driving. Until you hear "Cut". Think you heard it? Not sure? Keep driving.
READ THE DIRECTING COMMANDS BELOW!
DIRECTORS:
Typical commands ingame:
ACTION: Scene starts for everyone, don't stop acting until...
CUT: This is when it stops, if you're suppose to be walking away, don't stop walking until you hear it
BACKGROUND (ACTION): This is NOT for the main actors, this could be action for helicopters flying in the backround, aka for extras.
RESET: Back to one, something happened that ruined the shot, so lets try it again!
BACK TO ONE, TWO, etc: Depending on the scene, you might get points. One generaly is the starting position, 2 might be another, etc. This is a reset, but may not be for the entire scene. Remember your points!
QUIET ON SET: Be quiet over teamspeak, and stop requesting ammo ingame (Keep your finger off that commo rose)
------
Keeping the production going fast for Directors:
Plan everything ahead! Even shots. Storyboard if possible, know where each camera is suppose to go. Walking around looking for an angle or getting ideas is just a waste of time, and will irritate actors.
Test your system before, make sure everything is working in order. Last thing people want to hear is, "LOL forgot to turn on fraps xD"
Have a coffee, energy drink, cigarrete next to you. Hurt yourself before hurting someone else.
If someone fucks up, and when I mean fucks up I mean FUCKS. UP. - Don't yell at them, unless you are paying them!
Pick an Assistant Director, someone who you trust and someone who understands the project. Someone that can help you deal with people and plan things!
-------
That should be all folks!
(Got more tips? Post them and I'll edit this)
