MGM has acquired the rights to create a film based off of Dmitry Glukhovsky's Metro 2033. Coincidentally, there's also a fantastic game also based off of that same novel.

Set in a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033's script will be handled by F. Scott Frazier whom has done virtually nothing of note. Mark Johnson (The Chronicles of Narnia, Donnie Brasco, The Notebook) will serve as the movie's producer.
