Raven Developing Black Ops Map Packs; Activision Registers Four New CoD Title Names

And the hits just keep on coming. First up, it was revealed that Raven is already developing maps for upcoming map pack releases for Call of Duty: Black Ops, the recently announced CoD title arriving later this year. As the game isn't even out yet, there have been no word on how much, if anything, these packs will cost, or when they will be released.

Next up, it seems as though Activision has been busy covering all of their Call of Duty bases this week. Four new game titles were registered in the series. While there's absolutely no guarantee that all or any of these will actually become real games, there are some rather interesting titles to note.

    Call of Duty: Future Warfare
    Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
    Call of Duty: Secret Warfare
    Call of Duty: Space Warfare

I think the real kicker in that group is the "Space Warfare" one. Folks, we couldn't make this up if we tried.

Wow, that is really sad! Now that the original dev team is gone, Activision is going to milk the franchise the best they can with anything they can come up with.

gah, I was hoping they wouldnt cross over into space. Future war I can live with but space might just promote the idea of a CoD-Halo crossover (please for the love of gaming not let that happen, even in a fan-fic. I just hope that some 13 year old consoler doesnt come across this).
