1942 with WideScreen Resolutions

Is there any way to get BF1942 to accept widescreen resolutions like 1440x900? I found a way by editing a .con file but if I do that, I cant play multiplayer. Is there another way that wont get flagged by punkbuster?

I couldnt really tell if it worked or not because I dont play 1942 a lot, but if you edit the properties of the shortcut, in the target box, space and type "+widescreen 1 +szx xxxx +szy xxxx" without ""s and your desired resolution in place of x.

do that but dont forget to change the field of view

heres my fix that ive used for months
