Same here. Being Rambo isn't good for your KD ratio, but it makes things alot more fun when you take out 5-6 guys by yourself. It also pays off when i am squad leader, because alot of times i manage to break thru in maps like fall of berlin or gibraltar being PAC.
The stats make the game alot more fun for me. It's what keeps me coming back over and over again. I check what roles i haven't explored as much and for a while just dedicate myself to that. For instance, a while back i felt i needed more headshot pins, so for about 3 days i just went sniping. On other occasions decided to go looking for top players dog tags and succeeded on pretty much all the targets i setup. From that i got KAIN, Pickle_Power, US New-Mexico and top players from certain weapons. I'm currently focused on getting more kills with the machine guns (Bianchi, Shuko and Ganz) So the stats make me want to explore all the roles and all the weapons and shakes things up once in a while to make things different and fun.
Actually caring about my KDR
I get to the point that I won't play on ranked servers so I can simply run out and go Rambo. Then when I go on ranked servers I find myself hiding... hiding... Or sitting on the titan using the underneath guns.
Took me a long time to realise, no-one really cares about your KDR. It doesn't make you a n00b, you're just having fun.
I tend to use the Clark RDX in situations when I clearly should be doing something else. It's most certainly not a bad weapon but trying to cap a flag with it isn't very smart.
Tking as sweet vengeance for retardation
When I used to be a knife server whore. But on the battlefield, basically being an idiot, if I didnt run around and try to take half a team on, my k/d would appear much nicer. Just because your good never means you can go off trying to be a bigshot. I will always fail to understand that.
Walker piloting, chasing people halfway round the map with the knife just to get shot, walking into a grenade fights and not playing enough. lol
Oops, I forgot to post my fault...
Stubbornly attacking the same point the same way, even when I know I can't capture it alone.
By biggest fault is that I sometimes play so amazingly that I cruelly do not give the other players in the server a fair chance to kill me, as they deserve to have.

Nah, in all seriousness my biggest fault is that I tend to pursue kills too aggressively, at the expense of my teamwork score.
Especially when i know i don't have alot of time to play - i try to "get as many kills in as short a time as possibe" just running around like Rambo - resulting in a bad K/D
sometimes forgetting iam squad leader or reloading at the worst times arg.
