Okay, I've got the joystick running perfect except for the rudder controls, they are inverted, twist left turns you right and twist right and it turns you left. I cannot get the hang of this I've tried. I also cannot change the direction in which it turns me... has anyone ever ran into this problem is there a way around it or am I screwed?
I've got a Logitech 3d Pro and I also had this issue once. The fix is VERY simple though... In battlefield go to options > controlls . Go to the helicopter/aircraft tab. And click on the rudder controlls. Clear both of them using esc. Now click again and instead of twist to the right, twist left.. And for left, twist right.
Problem solved...
dangit man! i wanted to buy this joystick it looks so awesome! maybe youre pushing the stick fowards a bit when twisting it...? that shouldlnt happen, both at the same time.
by the way is it like friggen awesome, all the switches and missile release and everything, is it worth the 40 bucks?
Well mine came out to like $66 (CAD) at Futureshop, but it is a good joystick sans the opposite twist turns the jet the opposite way. I haven't really programmed the toggles at all yet, I just have missle, gun, afterburner, and flares right on the joystick along with switch weapons on the POV button, eventually I'll program the toggles to change the POV I think it'll be easier then having it right on the mouse. It takes awhile to get used to, I'm just kind of getting used to it now... I've been flying with a keyboard and mouse for a long time and I find it kind of difficult to keep a lock on a dodging jet.
Please try it.... Offcourse it sets both on the same time.. That's normal.. It is still one axle you turning... Ok i said it a bit wrong, but when it ask you to turn left, turn right. The other one is always the left-over opposite side, you won't have to fill in.. Let the game do that for ya.. Try it dude... Report back!
