Well, let me start from the begining...


I wanted to get dual monitor support, but I could not find the option (I dont know why I always used to know where it was) So, I disabled my gfx card (ATI X1950xt) drivers, and restarted, I tried reinstalling the drivers -top option from here, but, after reinstall it says the "drivers cannot be found", so i tried the bottom option fomr the link above, neither work, and on avanced display proporties it says I HAVE NO DRIVERS. Big problem obviously, so can someone help.


Also I seem to have my display as mirror or something, when both monitors show the same thing, If anyone could help me as to how to access normal dual screen mode options aswell it would be much appriciated.

I have my moniters in dual screen... anyway.

If you right click on my computer, go to properties, click on the "hardware" tab, and click device manager, a window will open up. Find your display adapter, double click on it and go to the drive tab. Click the uninstall button. After doing that you should be able to reinstall it and it should work fine. Also, its glitchy when scrolling because there are no drivers installed or working.

I dont spose anyone could point me to any sites about things like how to put a different wallpaper, or one large wallpaper across both screens?

No problem man. Well in the ATI catalyst control center I believe there is a dual moniter setup thing. I know that the Nvidia control center does, ati should also. You can also set it up in the display options on the control panel.

I'm not sure, but i thought ATI Hydravision helped you set up profiles on mutliple screens. May be worth a look.
